FIRST. A tip. You can print the Carillon just as mailed by selecting the issue and clicking "Print Version" top-right. At least it works flawlessly with an original edit and layout on my laptop and printed with the church desktop at 800 x 600 resolution.
NOTE. I have yet to try it any other way but I believe that printing the Carillon at a monitor resolution of 800 x 600 is important. And, it is alot easier to read online.
To get the complete effect of the mailed version, go into properties for your printer (that page comes up when you click - FILE/PAGE SETUP - you will want to highlight and delete the characters for FOOTER. This will get rid of the URL at the bottom of each page. DON'T MESS WITH HEADER - THAT WILL OUTPUT THE PAGE NUMBERS.
When printing WEB documents, margins (as headers/footers mentioned above) are set in the browser's PAGE SETUP (or PRINT SETUP) dialog box. These margin/header/footer settings, although set within the browser, are controlled at the operating system/printer driver level.
This website was developed to resolve (margins/headers/footers) with Microsoft Internet Explorer. If you wish to print the page as crated, I suggest the following.
Not using MIE? Set your PRINT MARGIN to .5 (one-half inch) since Firefox has a default setting of .75 and other browsers perhaps are different also. HIGHLIGHT and REMOVE the Footer Characters. You can copy them before printing and paste them back in after printing. If you lose the characters - just copy from this page and paste into the Footer text box in PRINTER PROPERTIES. You will have to replace that footer if you want it again in the future although I think it is a past remnant before you could add pages to Favorites in your browser. I just left it blank. Now you know all the secrets .

Still, with all these precautions, this can be sticky across differing monitors, graphic cards and printers although compatibility is much better today than ever. So, you tell me. Work for you? Send William Brandes - Claridon WEBSteward your comments. Lastly, when done, click your browser back button to return to previous page.
